Before we at NeatStays were hosts, we were travelers. We know from experience that the best stays feel personal.

Our Story

Our journey in Auckland's short-term rental industry began in 2013, helping property owners manage their Airbnb listings at a time when the market was still finding its feet.

It didn't take long to notice a significant gap. Finding cleaners who truly understood the Airbnb world was incredibly difficult and it went far beyond the clean itself.

Short-term rental cleaning demands a different mindset entirely: the flexibility to accommodate last-minute schedule changes, the professionalism to handle complaints with ownership and grace, and the reliability to show up when it matters most. The cleaning companies available at the time simply weren't built for it.

That gap became the foundation for everything we've built since.
